LEWISTON — Tickets still remain for this weekend’s Niagara USA Wine Festival, to be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Academy Park on Center Street.

The eighth annual festival will feature not only wine but ciders and meads from Niagara Wine Trail wineries. In all, there are 18 wineries participating in the two-day event.

Advance tickets are available online for $25 through 9 p.m. Day-of tickets are expected to be available at the entrance tent for $30. Tickets include one tasting ticket valid for a single tasting of three different wines at each participating winery for both days of the festival, and a souvenir wine glass. Food will be available for purchase from the numerous local vendors on site.

The festival will also feature several discussions and demonstrations including “The Miracle of Fermentation” at 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday, “Bourbon, Whiskey & Gin” at 6 p.m. Saturday, “Start a Winemaking Hobby” at 12:45 and 4 p.m. Sunday, “How to Appreciate Wine” at 2 p.m. Sunday, “Nando’s Italian Pizzelles” at 3 p.m. Sunday, and a wine and chocolate pairing demonstrations at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
