PORTVILLE — A 24-year-old Olean man was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, accused of stealing his brother’s guns.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of three long guns missing from a home in the Town of Portville on July 18.
Upon investigation, Troopers determined that Ryen T. Putt had removed the guns from the Happy Hollow Road home and then sold the firearms to a local gun shop.
Putt is due to appear in Town of Portville Court in August.
