The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office charged three people with selling alcohol to minors this evening.

The Sheriff’s Office did a joint underage alcohol enforcement with the New York State Police and New York State Liquor Authority, checking 14 bars between 5 and 10 p.m.

Eleven bars successfully denied the underage operatives alcohol. Three, however, allowed the operatives to purchase alcohol. Arrested during this detail was Paulette D. Donoughe, 50, of Niagara Falls, an employee of The Old Depot, Ransomville; Catherine M. Stella, 53, of Youngstown, an employee of The Mug and Musket, Youngstown and Patricia J. Kramer, 56, of Olcott, an employee of Scruples Bar, Newfane.

Donoughe, Stella and Kramer were each charged with two counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and two counts of prohibited sales. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Donoughe and Stella are due to appear in the Town of Porter Court and Kramer is due to appear in the Town of Newfane Court.
