SPRINGVILLE — A communities-wide scavenger hunt by the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off at 10 a.m., asking participants to visit chamber member businesses between now and Aug. 3.

The scavenger hunt is good for teams, families or individuals, who must register at the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce Office, 23 North St., between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. today or 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Participants are then assigned an entry number and a list of all Chamber member participants and the scavenger item required to be retrieved from them.

Member businesses are found in Arcade, Boston, Chaffee, Colden, Collins, East Concord, East Otto, Glenwood, Gowanda, Sardinia, Springville and Yorkshire — and many are in between. Participants must retrieve all items designated to qualify for eligibility to win awards with all qualified entries having an equal opportunity to win prizes.

An award ceremony will be held at Shuttleworth Park from 5 – 7 p.m. Aug. 6, which participants are encouraged — but not required — to attend.
