NEWSTEAD — A 74-year-old Akron Man was charged Wednesday with a criminal sex act with a minor.
According to New York State Police, Norman Thuman was charged with first-degree criminal sex act and first-degree sexual abuse. An investigation by the bureau of criminal investigation concluded that Thuman had sexual contact with a minor less than 13 years of age in 2011. The contact was only recently disclosed and investigated.
Thuman was arraigned in the Town of Newstead Court.
