WALES — A 24-year-old Rochester man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 20A.

According to New York State Police, Benjamin D. Specht failed to stop at a stop sign, leading troopers to pull him over. Once they did, they determined him to be intoxicated and transported him to the Elma Troopers’ barracks for processing, where he was found to have a .12 percent blood alcohol content.

Specht was processed and released on citations to appear before Town of Wales Court on Aug. 18.
