LEWISTON — The Village of Lewiston scooped up another win in the All WNY Awards with Water Street Landing winning the All WNY Award for Best Outdoor Deck or Patio.
The restaurant and bar overlooking the Lower Niagara River beat out 17 other nominees for the award, including Buffalo Riverworks, City Grill in Rochester, Depew’s The Cove, Fat Bob’s, Genny Brew House, Larkin Square, Liberty Hound, Lockport’s Lock 34, Lumberjack’s Patio and Grill in North Tonawanda, McGarrett’s, Mes Que, Pearl Street Grill and Brewery, Providence Social, Resurgence Brewing Co., 716 Food and Sport, North Tonawanda’s The Shores, and Tappo.
Of the five All WNY Awards given so far in 2016, three of them have gone to Lewiston businesses, with The Silo taking the Best Burger claim and Orange Cat Coffee Co. winning Best Locally-Owned Coffee Shop. The other awards have gone to Andrews’ Barber Parlor in East Aurora — as Best Barber — and the Flight of Five in Lockport as the Best Tourist Attraction (excluding Niagara Falls).
