NIAGARA FALLS — A 33-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Friday afternoon with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Porter Road.

According to New York State Police, Timothy Champaigne was stopped for speeding and found to possess Suboxone, Oxycodone and marijuana. Champaigne’s driver’s license was also suspended.

He was taken into custody and transported to SP Niagara for processing and issued appearance tickets returnable in the City of Niagara Falls Court.
