INDIAN FALLS — New York State Police have released the identity of the Buffalo man who drowned at Indian Falls Wednesday evening.
Police say 22-year-old Bradley Austin was celebrating his birthday with friends when he jumped into the water at the base of the falls around 7:30 p.m. and did not resurface. He body was later removed by friends and others in the area, who attempted to administer CPR, but were not successful in reviving him.
NYSP’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation says they do not believe foul play is not a factor and no charges are pending at this time, although an autopsy has been called for and the investigation is described as ongoing.
