Betty Jane (Pearce) Sheehan, born in Wilson, NY on December 25, 1923.

Daughter of the late Jack and Leola Bradley Pearce, former City of Lockport Bookkeeper before retiring and opening Danny Sheehan’s Steak House with her husband Danny, where she worked as Hostess until she was 89 years of age for Mike Ennis.

Member of American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary; former member of Lockport Town & CC and Zonta Club. Enjoyed golf, her Bid Pitch girls at Cammarata’s, her Bridge Group; traveling to several foreign countries & the USA; especially Hawaii with Danny, her love.

Predeceased by her husband, Danny Sheehan on July 18, 2005, Betty is survived by her son, Richard C. Sheehan; daughter-in-law, Susan Bieniek Sheehan; grandsons, Daniel R. (Christy) Sheehan, Kyle D. (Traci) Sheehan and great-grandchildren, Daniel R. Sheehan II, Jack Sheehan, Katie Sheehan and Samantha Sheehan; also by several wonderful nieces and nephews; sister, Elmira Ellen McClelland; brother, Jerald A. Pearce; sister-in-law, Anita Pearce; predeceased by brothers, John Pearce, William (Jim) Pearce; and sister, Kathryn Pearce DeFelice.

Friends may call from 4-7 on Thursday at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:00 pm at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St. (please assemble at church). Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
