PORTVILLE — An 18-year-old Olean man was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on ST-417.
According to New York State Police, Jason W Whitehead Jr., was stopped for an inadequate exhaust. Upon further investigation, Troopers noted the smell of marijuana coming from the rear seat area of the vehicle. Whitehead was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia.
Whitehead was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Portville court for August 2016.
