CLARENCE — A 52-year-old Clarence man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a crash on Goodrich Road.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a telephone pole. Troopers located the driver of the vehicle, Michael Mccabe,who failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI.

Mccabe, who had a blood alcohol content of .09 percent, was released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Clarence Court.
