LOCKPORT — A man shot this morning near the corner of John and LaGrange Streets was taken to Erie County Medical Center for “multiple gunshot wounds” according to Lockport Police.
The man, who police have not yet named, has injuries described as non-life-threatening.
LPD Det. Lt. Brian Wentland says police are still investigating the crime and hoping for information from the public.

Police say the shooting was not related to the suicide this morning when an as-yet-unidentified person jumped off the Pine Street Bridge onto the pavement below near the Flight of Five.
