GATES — New York State Police arraigned a 22-year-old Gates man with three charges Sunday following an investigation into a domestic incident.
According to NYSP, Mark D. Caufield was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Police say the incident had happened at the Valero service station in the Village of Angelica.
Caufield was transported to SP Amity for processing and arraigned before the Town of Friendship Court, then remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond and was scheduled to reappear before the Village of Angelica Court.
