HARTLAND — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has publicly identified the victim of the farm machinery accident that occurred Saturday morning on Seaman Road.
Sheriff’s investigators say that 68-year-old Larry Cooper had been found unconscious and trapped underneath a tractor with attached haybine in the side yard of 9201 Seaman Road. Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of the Hartland Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene, where Cooper was unresponsive — and later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into the incident is continuing by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
