FREWSBURG — A 69-year-old Frewsburg man was charged Wednesday with two counts of disorderly conduct after police say he was “standing in the middle of Wigren Road, causing an unpleasant scene by refusing to move for traffic and yelling obscenities for no apparent reason.”

According to NYSP, Richard Ockerhausen “continued to act belligerent after being advised he was under arrest and refused the trooper’s instructions during the arrest process, including physically resisting handcuffing.”

Once restrained, Ockerhausen was transported to SP Jamestown and processed on the disorderly charges, as well as resisting arrest. Ockerhausen was then arraigned in the Town of Carroll Court, posted bail, and was released.

He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Carroll Court next month to answer the charges.
