TONAWANDA — Brush off your blue suede shoes, or pull that poodle skirt out of the cedar chest, because from tonight in Tonawanda it’s and Old Fashioned Street Dance.
Gateway Harbor Park hosts what is referred to as the “Peppermint Stick Lounge reunion.”
Master of Ceremonies DJ Hank Nevins oversees the festivities. Kathy Lynne and the Playboys will perform live, the iconic Big Wheelie will make an appearance, and there will be costume and dance competitions.
The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. in the park off of Young Street, which will be closed to traffic for the event.
