TOWN OF NIAGARA — A 36-year-old Lewiston man was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated following a Miller Road traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Michael Wegerski was stopped for an equipment violation around 5:51 p.m. and determined to be intoxicated.

He was taken into custody for DWI and transported to SP Niagara, where a breath test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .10 percent.

James was processed and issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Niagara court.
