BUFFALO — A 27-year-old Buffalo man faces a maximum of 15 years in prison after being found guilty earlier this week of second-degree burglary, first degree criminal contempt and three counts of second-degree criminal contempt.
According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael, J. Flaherty, Jr., Brandon Medley was found guilty by a jury or violating an order of protection four times in 2014, once forcing his way into a woman’s home, striking her and putting his hands around her neck. The following day, Medley violated the order of protection by calling the victim from the Erie County Holding Center. He also twice violated the order of protection against the victim in August of 2014 and during one of those incidents, tore her shirt and spit in her face.
Medley will be sentenced on July 15.
