NEWFANE — A 59-year-old Lockport man was arrested today, charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband and sixth-degree conspiracy.

According to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour, a joint investigation between the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Corrections and Criminal Divisions showed that Geoffrey A. Campbell provided contraband to an inmate so it could then be smuggled into the Niagara County Jail.
