Monday was the final day of Canalside’s very successful Boardwalk Carnival. It was also Memorial Day.

The location of the carnival adjacent to the Buffalo and Erie County Military and Naval Park allowed us to have a some fun under the beautiful blue skies, then take a humbling walk amongst the monuments to those who have given the ultimate price for our freedom.

These are the flowers that were sold Saturday at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval Museum and Park’s Fourth Annual Geranium Sale.
