BUFFALO — A pair of concert series in the Queen City kick off today as both “Live at Larkin” and “Waterfront Wednesdays” make their annual debut.

Live at Larkin is the signature night for music in Larkinville, featuring a pair of bands each night playing live, local and original music from 5 – 8:30 p.m. Food and drink are served up from a “curated selection of food trucks” throughout the evening. Plus there’s hula-hooping, dancing, pickleball, and just plain old socializing.

Tonight’s bands are John and Mary & the Valkyries w/ Fredtown Stompers, Freightrain, Verve Dance Studio, Carol McLaughlin & Magnitude, French Quarter Hounds.

Meanwhile, at Waterfont Village Courtyard, Waterfront Wednesdays debuts today, as well, offering music, food trucks and drinks each week through Aug. 10.
