The nominations are in for the second All WNY Award: Best Tourist Attraction.
Buffalo was recently named by Travel and Leisure Magazine as America’s Favorite Big City, meaning there will be even more tourists here this summer and in coming years. Assuming Niagara Falls is on the list of things to tell people to see, we’re exempting that from the nominations. We asked our readers, “what else will you tell people to visit?” Local attractions were nominated online from May 23-29. Nominees include:
- Artpark (Lewiston)
- Buffalo Botanical Gardens
- Buffalo Zoo
- Delaware Park
- Flight of Five (Lockport)
- Larkin Square Area (Flying Bison, Hydraulic Hearth, The Square)
- Letchworth State Park / Glen Iris Inn
- Lockport Caves
- Maid of the Mist (Niagara Falls)
- Old Fort Niagara (Youngstown)
- Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours (Lewiston)
Voting will take place at www.allwnyawards.com through May 6.
