BUFFALO — A 48-year-old Lancaster woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to 10 counts of falsifying business records and one count of grand larceny, having been accused of theft from her former employer.

According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., Rhonda Greco’s plea stems from Greco’s employment in the Accounts Payable Department at the Lancaster Central School District from 2009 through September 2015.

While working there, she used the Lancaster Central School District checking account to pay her personal NYSEG, National Fuel and Verizon Wireless bills a total of 10 times from October of 2014 through September. She resigned from her position when confronted about the missing money.

Greco must make full restitution for the loss of taxpayer dollars which totals $3,461.71.

Greco faces a maximum of up to seven years in prison when she is sentenced on Aug. 1.
