ELBA — A Log City Road couple were charged in March and May with sex crimes, related to a 10-year period of conduct.
According to New York State Police, on March 30, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) charged Scott A. Reed, 50, with second-degree course of sexual conduct. Police say the criminal investigation of sexual abuse to a minor spanned over a 10-year-period. The case was reported to the NYSP in March of 2016.
Subsequently, the wife of the defendant, Deborah S. Reed was charged on May 17 with endangering the welfare of a child, after investigators found that she failed to provide the adequate protection for other children within the home after learning of the past abuse by Scott A. Reed.
Deborah S. Reed is scheduled to appear in the Town of Oakfield Court in May 2016.
