NIAGARA FALLS — A 30-year-old Niagara Falls woman was charged recently with traffic and drug offences after police say she was found with 41 bags of heroin during a traffic stop.

Laura E. Walker’s charges include criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and making an unsafe turn.

Troopers had performed a vehicle and traffic stop on Walker’s vehicle on Royal Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls on April 23. During the interview the odor of marijuana was present and Walker wa found to have a suspended driver’s license. During the subsequent investigation, 41 plastic bags of heroin and marijuana located.

Walker was taken to SP Niagara for processing and remanded to the City of Niagara Falls holding center pending arraignment.
