TOWN OF NIAGARA — A 55-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on Tuesday.

According to New York State Police, Christopher Emes was stopped at approximately 10:24 a.m. after a passenger in the vehicle he was operating was observed not wearing a seat belt.

Emes was observed wearing a dagger hanging around his neck and found to be in possession of a small pipe with marijuana resident and two marijuana joints. It was also determined that his driving privileges in New York state had been suspended.

He was issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Niagara Court.
