FRIENDSHIP — A 71-year-old Friendship man was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on County Road 20.

According to New York State Police, Troopers were called to investigate a report of an erratic vehicle and located the suspect vehicle at an address in Friendship with Paul W. Kelly behind the wheel.

Kelly was determined to be intoxicated and charged. He was taken to SP Amity for processing where he recorded a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content.  He was then released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Friendship Court.
