DUNKIRK — A 21-year-old Peekskill man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Vineyard Drive.

According to New York State Police, Robert Lyles was stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital where a blood sample was secured and then transported to SP Fredonia for processing.

Lyles was later issued tickets and released, to appear in the Town of Dunkirk Court in May.
