SINCLAIRVILLE — A 41-year-old Cheektowaga man was charged Thursday with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a crash in a work zone on Route 60.
According to New York State Police, troopers responded to a report of a three-vehicle crash in a work zone on Route 60 and Mecca was charged after failing multiple roadside tests.
Mecca was transported to the State Police barracks in Fredonia where he was evaluated by a drug recognition expert and later processed. He was issued tickets and released to a non-impaired individual.
Mecca was determined to be the at fault driver crash.
