WHEATFIELD — Two teens from Niagara Falls have been charged by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office with second-degree assault in relation to an incident that occurred late Wednesday on Stoelting Street.

According to NCSO, patrol responded to an “assault in progress” complaint at 10:31 p.m. When they arrived, they found that two victims had suffered stab wounds after an altercation with individuals who had shown up at their residence to allegedly settle a personal dispute that had started during Facebook messaging. The first victim was a teenage male who suffered lacerations to his left arm and was treated at the scene. The second victim, who is the stepfather of first victim, was stabbed in the abdomen and airlifted by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center. Both injuries are non life threatening.

After the assault, the suspects reportedly fled the scene in a green Jeep with a broken rear window, which was located unoccupied in the WalMart parking lot on Military Road in the City of Niagara Falls. The suspects were located inside the store by Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies, New York State Troopers, and several other assisting local agencies.

After investigation, two males, 17-year-old Kim Bradley and 19-year-old Eduardo Martinez, both of Niagara Falls, were charged and arraigned in Wheatfield Town Court. They were both held on $20,000 bail and ordered to return to court on Wednesday.

Additional charges may be pending.
