On December 27, 2021, SP Amity Troopers arrested Richard L Delude, 41 of Allen for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator.
SP Amity Troopers investigating an unrelated complaint on Botsford Hollow Rd in the town of Allen and observed Delude operating a motor vehicle on the public roadway. He then parked in a private driveway. During the interview of Delude, the odor of alcohol was detected, and they observed that he had glassy, bloodshot eyes and poor motor coordination. Delude admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage prior to operating the vehicle. Troopers conducted a battery of standardized field sobriety tests which indicated that Delude was intoxicated. A prescreened breath test also indicated the presence of alcohol. Troopers arrested Delude and transported him to SP Fillmore for processing where he provided a breath sample with a reportable value of .25 BAC.
Delude was issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Allen court, where he is to appear in February 2022.
