On September 13th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested James Spitale, 43, of Gerry, for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree.
The Troopers responded to a residence in Gerry for a report of a violation of an order of protection. Investigation revealed that Spitale had approached the protected party, threatening to assault and kill her. Spitale was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
