The Village of Williamsville’s Department of Public Works began its seasonal leaf pickup for village residents on Monday, Oct. 22.

Village officials request that all leaves are placed in piles in the right-of-way area between the sidewalk and the street. Properties that do not have sidewalks should pile leaves on the grass near the street.

After next week, residents should call 716-632-4120 to schedule any brush pickups. All brush will be picked up by appointment on Fridays from November through January.

Please note, however, that leaves must not be placed in the street and should not cover drainage structures. Additionally, do not mix the leaves with branches or any other yard waste.
