PRESS RELEASE


A 76 year old Portville man was charged with Menacing and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing on June 1, 2018 following a call to police about a loud disturbance.

According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a report of a dispute at a residence in the town of Portville. Their investigation determined that Robert A. Schultz had grabbed another party by the throat while making physical threats against that party.

Schultz was arrested and arraigned in Portville Town Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in Portville Town Court at a later date.
