LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that a Niagara County jury convicted Brian W. Miskho, age 33, of Niagara Falls, of First Degree Manslaughter this afternoon. Miskho was convicted of stabbing Thomas Anderson, age 49, also of Niagara Falls, to death in December of 2020. Anderson initially survived the knife attack, but later succumbed to his injuries.
“The jury saw through Miskho’s self-defense claim, and saw this case for what it was,” said Seaman. “The defendant attacked and killed Mr. Anderson in an outburst of anger and jealousy. It was that simple.”
Miskho faces up to 25 years in prison when he returns to be sentenced by County Court Judge John Ottaviano. The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Executive Assistant Mary Jean Bowman.
