ANGELICA — A 21-year-old Bronx man was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana on Sunday after a traffic stop on I-86.
According to New York State Police, Troopers could smell marijuana coming from the stopped vehicle. A K9 unit was used to find a duffle bag with more than 25 grams of marijuana. The exact amount was not disclosed.
Bernardez told Troopers it was his marijuana. He was taken to SP Amity and processed before being issued an appearance ticket to Town of Angelica Court.
