SHERMAN — A 57-year-old Jamestown man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a complaint from a concerned citizen.
According to New York State Police, Rafael Gattorno was observed intoxicated in Sherman, then drive on I-86 east. The Troopers located and pulled the suspect vehicle over in Jamestown at Exit 11. Gattorno was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .20. Gattorno was then processed, issued tickets and released. Gattorno is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
