BUFFALO — A 22-year-old Buffalo man who pleaded guilty in April in connection with a July 2015 shooting at a Buffalo home, has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision.

According to Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr., Michael Holley of 221 Sprenger St. had entered the home on July 24, carrying a shotgun, looking to confront his uncle. While inside the house, Holley ultimately shot 54-year old Glendyln (known as Marie) Kinnitt of Buffalo who was seated on the couch, killing her.

Holley pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in April.
