LOCKPORT — The Lockport Community Market kicked off this morning on Canal Street.
The family-friendly open-air market will run each Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. through the end of summer. It features live entertainment, activities and demonstrations, and a multitude of vendors each week offering fresh produce, meat, baked goods, local wine, jewelry, unique gifts, and much more. EBT/SNAP (food stamps) for all food stamp eligible products will be accepted by participating vendors.
Vendors will vary from week to week with new vendors still being accepted each week as space allows. Vendors confirmed for the season so far include:
- 1st Presbyterian Church – Water/Pop
- 12 Grain Studios – Lockport centric t-shirts, pins, stickers, postcards, posters.
- Angels of Spiritual Guidance – Psychic Crayon Reading
- Bisque & Biscuits – Hot soups for eating on site, chilled soups for taking home, baked products to go with (bread bowls, breadsticks, garlic knots, rolls), single serve desserts to eat on site (cookies, sliced cake, sweet bars/brownies) and chilled beverages (ice water, chilled juices, iced tea, lemonade). May offer hot beverages (coffee, tea) during October sessions.
- Bossman BBQ – BBQ food vendor mainly, specializing in Pulled Pork. Other food items include: Ribs, Chicken, Beef Brisket, etc.
- Cornell Cooperative Extension – Non-Profit organization with information about healthy practices on Nutrtion, Physical Activity, and Sugar-Sweetened Beverages according to ESNY.
- Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue – Animal Adoption
- Different Woods – Wood crafts
- Eclectic Scents – Artisan Soap, Bath & Body Treats
- Good Neighbor Redemption Center – Local business will answer questions and provide information.
- Gormley Farms – Pasture raised non GMO Chicken, pork and eggs. Handmade soap
- Herbal Acre – Fresh herbs, garlic, flowers, berries, herb plants, dried flowers
- Human Farms & Greenhouse – Variety of fresh produce
- Kaycees Corner – Hot Dogs, PopCorn & Beverages (Pop).
- Kindred Kreek – Meats- alpaca, lamb, pork, rabbit, goat, eggs
- Leonard Oakes – Wine and hard cider
- McCollum Orchards, LLC – Over 50 varieties of fresh, organically grown produce
- Nessa Nutritionals – ʺChillersʺ cooling neck wraps.
- Nice Farms – Maple products, Honey products, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, sweet & sour cherries, apricots, pluots, peaches, nectarines, plums, pears, apples, apple cider
- NK Aura – Homemade soy candles in a variety of scents and sizes.
- Off the Cuff Creations – Wine bottle lights, birdhouses, seeders, cork decorations.
- Paparazzi Accessories – Paparazzi Accessories. Everything is $ 5 or less!
- Perfectly Poshed by Kelly – Pampering products with all natural ingredients. Everything from our hair to your toes.
