BUFFALO — An infant was struck and killed by a vehicle on the first block of Fernhill Avenue, according to the Buffalo Police Department.
A BPD alert on Twitter offered no more details on the situation other than to say that an investigation is ongoing.

Fernhill Avenue runs from Grider Street to Wyoming Avenue near Erie County Medical Center.
