SHERMAN — A 36-year-old Erie, Pa. man was charged with aggravated DWI following a traffic stop on I-86 on Thursday.

According to New York State Police, Michael Polon was stopped just before midnight after Troopers had gotten reports of a vehicle driving in a reckless manner and saw Polon driving erratically.

Polon was determined to be intoxicated and charged with DWI. He was taken to the Jamestown Troopers’ barracks and found to have a .20 blood alcohol content. He was issued tickets returnable to Town of Sherman Court, where he is to appear later this month.
