The Pawtucket Red Sox announced Tuesday that their scheduled game against the Bisons at McCoy Stadium has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions and a forecast for more rain throughout the evening.
The game will be made up the next time the Herd visits Rhode Island, which will come immediately after this year’s All-Star break. The PawSox and Bisons are now scheduled for a doubleheader on the second day after the break, Friday, July 12, with the first of two seven-inning games beginning at 4:35 p.m.
The Bisons will now travel to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for a three-game in two-day series with the first place RailRiders. The Herd returns home to Sahlen Field for a six-game homestand against the Mets and IronPigs that begins with a Honda fridaynigthbash! with fireworks.
All WNY is made possible thanks to coffee and sleep deprivation.
