TOWN OF NIAGARA — A 38-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Monday with third-degree robbery and petit larceny, accused of robbing a female in a Military Road parking lot.
According to Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour, Efrain Velez was charged following an investigation by the Town of Niagara Police Department and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau into a “strong-armed robbery of a female.”
Velez was arraigned in Niagara Town Court where bail was set at $10,000/$20,000. He has a return date in Town of Niagara Court on Aug. 15.
