YORKSHIRE — A 68-year-old Machias man was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 16.
According to New York State Police, Dennis Terwilliger was stopped around 8:02 p.m. for having no front headlight on a motorcycle. While interviewing Terwilliger, Troopers determined him to be intoxicated. He was then found to have a .08 blood alcohol content.
Terwilliger was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire Court for later this month.
