Eddie Lee Page Sr., of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away of Saturday, September 24, 2016, at his home. He was born in Uniontown, AL, on September 18, 1923, the son of the late Emma [Williams] (late Hezkiah) Coleman and Snyder Page, Sr.
Mr. Page moved to Niagara Falls in the 1940’s. He worked at various plants in the area before becoming a furnace operator with Carborundum for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. Mr. Page was a member of the Masons Lodge and Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.
Mr. Page was the husband of the late Emma [Milton] Page, who died June of 2013 and was the dear friend of the late Eula Mae Powell. He was the father of Eddie L. Page, Jr., Joseph Page, James (Roxanne) Powell, Donald (Susan) Page, Eddie (Jennifer) Powell, Craig (Tanita) Page, Sr., Alice Mae (late Donald) Williams, Arnetta (Michael) Stallworth, Jackie (Darrell) Belton, Wanda (Clinton) Smith, Linda (Ricardo) Griggs and Latrice Powell, the brother of Edward, Wilbert, Jessie, Prince Paige, Walter Johnson, Leila Smith, Annie Paige, Claudine Jones, Ruthie Colbert and Mary Coleman Hartfield and father in law of Anette Page, nephew of Leola Myles Harrison, Lecurtis and Arthur Myles. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
Mr. Page was the father of the late James Page, Minnie Williams, Jackie Nichols and Pamela Powell and brother of the late Snyder Paige, Jimmie Paige, Sr. and Clara Sweet.
His family will be present on Thursday from 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY and on Friday from 12-1:00 PM at True Bethel Baptist Church, 1112 South Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Home Going Services at 1:00 PM.
Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
