Mary E. Crane (Mittan) of Sanborn, NY, entered God’s Heavenly Kingdom on the Feast of St. Jude, Friday, October 28, 2016, in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 24, 1951, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary [Fiore] Mittan.

Mary graduated from Madonna High School in 1970 and attended McCully School of nursing.

She was an LPN for various health care facilities in the area and later was the proud owner of Crane’s Creations Flower Shop in Sanborn for several years. Mary was an inspiration to many for not only her personal struggles, but for her willingness to help others.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years Thomas M. Crane, four daughters Michelle (Jerry) Andrews, Marisa (Matt) Martin, Monica (Tim) Wall and Meghan (Chris) George, ten grandchildren Tori, David, Katie, Miracle, Ireland, Gannon, Mariana, CeCe, Maxim and Wyatt, three sisters Karen (Brian) Mann, Birdie Cicero and Janet Jackman, also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Mary was the Nane of the late Messiah John, Meadow Anne and Marshall Jude Martin.

Her family will be present on Monday from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY.
