David L. Houseman went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2016. Son of Kenneth and Ruth Houseman. Beloved wife of 68 years to Mary “Betty” Houseman (Mansell). Father of Ron (Debbie), Kent (Bonnie), Kenneth (Linda), and the late Daniel (Ann) Houseman.
David pastored several churches over a period of 40 years in western New York, the last being Middleport Fundamental Baptist Church.
Also survived by his brother; Albert “Bum” (Joyce) Houseman. Loving grandfather of Daniel (Christina) Houseman, Julie (Justin) Kile, Phil Houseman, Bruce (Jennifer) Houseman, Stephen (Megan) Houseman, Pam (Paul) Johnson, Ryan (Tiffany) Houseman, Charissa (Timothy) Masters, Michael (Monika) Houseman, Jennifer (Kenneth) Hilwig, and Rachel Houseman. Great-grandfather of 21. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will be present on Thursday at the Royalton Bible Church, 8457 Bunker Hill Rd. Gasport, from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, to receive friends, where a funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm.
If desired donations may be made in David’s name to Royalton Bible Church.
