Several local and national businesses are showing their appreciation to veterans today in the form of free food, admission, tickets and more.
Below is a list of some of the freebies being offered this Veteran’s Day.
- Applebee’s: Free meal from a special menu and get a $5 coupon that can be redeemed Nov. 12-27.
- Bob Evans: Free meal from a special breakfast menu available all day.
- Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra: Free tickets to “Magnificent Bruckner” Friday morning and Saturday night.
- Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.
- Chipotle: From 3 p.m. to close, all U.S. military, military spouses and veterans get a buy one get one free burrito, bowl, salad or tacos.
- Chili’s: Free meal from a special menu.
- Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.
- Denny’s: From 5 a.m. to noon, active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam.
- Family Video: Free five-night rental.
- Friendly’s: Free meal from a special menu.
- IHOP: Free red, white and blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Little Caesars: Free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Longhorn Steakhouse: Free appetizer or dessert. Plus guests dining with veterans will receive 10 percent off their meals.
- Olive Garden: Free meal from a select menu.
- Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage. Outback also is offering active and former service members 15 percent off their meals and their families Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.
- Panera Bread: Free You-Pick-Two with proof of military service. Participating locations.
- Perkins: Free Magnificent Seven meal.
- Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert Nov. 10 and 11.
- Red Robin: Free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and fries.
- Ruby Tuesday: Free appetizer up to $10.
- Starbucks: Free tall coffee to veterans, active-duty military and military spouses.
- TGI Friday’s: Free lunch from select menu 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Several retail stores and some restaurants also offer discounts today.
- A.C. Moore: Get 15 percent off your total regular and sale price purchase with valid ID every day.
- Bass Pro Shops: On Veterans Day and Nov. 15-22, active duty and retired military get a 10 percent military discount.
- Bed Bath & Beyond: 25 percent off entire purchase Nov. 10-13.
- Dollar General: 11 percent discount in-store and online.
- Home Depot: 10 percent discount.
- JCPenney: An extra 5 percent off Nov. 10-13.
- Jo-Ann Fabric: 10 percent discount for military service members and their families year round.
- Lowe’s: 10 percent discount.
- Michaels: 15 percent discount for military families every day.
- Ted’s Hot Dogs: 50 percent off
