BUFFALO — The Canisius College Athletic Department is excited to announce a pair of bobblehead giveaways during the month of February.
Petey, the beloved mascot of Canisius Athletics, and former hockey standout Cory Conacher will be recognized with giveaways on back-to-back evenings.
The Conacher bobbleheads will be given out to the first 500 fans in attendance at the Griffs’ regular season finale against Mercyhurst on Feb. 23. Puck drop for that contest is set for 7:05 p.m.
Petey bobbleheads are available Feb. 24 during the men’s basketball contest against Fairfield at 7 p.m. The first 200 Canisius fans will receive a Petey bobblehead while the first 300 Canisius students entering the Koessler Athletic Center from Petey’s Birthday Celebration in the Patrick Lee Gymnasium receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a bobblehead at the conclusion of the game. Limit one bobblehead per voucher; one voucher per student.
